Bristol Borough is Lower Bucks’ comeback story: a Mill Street restaurant row that won its “America’s Main Street” reputation back, a riverfront promenade at Lions Park, and a SEPTA station within walking distance of most of the borough. The canal towpath’s southern terminus is here too — you can bike from Bristol’s waterfront to New Hope without leaving the park.
For value hunters this is the walkable-riverfront-with-rail combination at the county’s most accessible price point. Blocks vary street by street — walk them at different hours — and check the flood section for anything close to the river or the canal basin.
