Daily life
Newtown Borough packs the county-seat lifestyle into half a square mile: a working State Street with restaurants and a movie theater, sidewalks that actually go somewhere, and Tyler State Park’s 1,700 acres beginning just across the creek. It is the rare Lower Bucks address where a car can sit untouched all weekend.
The trade-off is the commute — no rail station in the borough, so train riders drive to the West Trenton Line and everyone else takes the bypass to I-295. Buyers here are usually paying for the walk-to-dinner life and the park, and accepting a drive to everything else.
