What this township actually has is the Delaware itself: river frontage at Kintnersville, the canal towpath, and the dramatic cliffs that rise over the river bend. It’s Palisades school district, and the palisades in question are these.
Life here is rural river-corridor living — Route 611 to Easton for jobs and errands, River Road south to the villages, and quiet everywhere else. The usual river-country diligence applies: check the flood section for the low-lying stretches near the creek mouths, and expect wells and septic on most parcels away from the villages.
